Why is my open water swim not showing in the FORM Swim App?
If you used your goggles for the open water swim (without a connected smartwatch), then the swim will have been saved on your goggles until you sync them to your app. This is the same procedure as a pool swim. If the swim is not showing in your feed, ensure you have the goggles turned on and near your phone with the app open and working internet access. You can tap and drag down the feed with your finger to refresh the screen.
If you used a Garmin smartwatch connected to the goggles for your open water swim, the swim will have been recorded on your Garmin smartwatch and the swim will sync across to your Garmin Connect app (and subsequently the FORM Swim App) once you have synced your watch to your device. If the swim is showing in your Garmin Connect app but not the FORM Swim App, ensure your accounts are still linked by visiting External Services in your profile.
If you used an Apple Watch connected to the goggles for your open water swim, the swim will have been recorded on the FORM Swim App for Apple Watch. If your Watch has built-in internet access, the swim will sync to your device automatically when in range. If your Watch does not have built-in internet access, ensure your phone has internet access then open the FORM Swim App, as well as the FORM Swim App for Apple Watch on your Watch. The Watch will send the swim to the app.
