Workouts are designed to be swimmable in a 25m/y or 50 m/y pool. For information about workouts that were designed specifically for shorter pools (25m/y), see here.

If your pool is not exactly 25m/y or 50m/y, you can still do a workout! 

Pools up to 37.5m/y

If your pool is between 15m/16.5y and 37.5m/y, your workout will be presented to you as though you were swimming in a 25m/y pool. The distance will be recorded correctly by the goggles so you will see your actual completed distance in the goggles and app at the end of the swim, rather than the distance that the workout says.

Example

Your pool is 20m and you are swimming a workout that is 1000m.

You will input the correct pool size at the start of the workout. The workout will behave as though each turn is completing 25m. If you see an interval of 50m, this would mean you swim two lengths (2x25m) to complete the interval.

At the end of the workout, you will have completed 800m instead of the 1000m that the workout stated in the app. 

Pools above 38m/y

The maximum pool size for workouts is 70m/y. If your pool is above 38m/y (but shorter than 70m/y), your workout will be presented to you as though you were swimming in a 50m/y pool. The distance will be recorded correctly by the goggles so you will see your actual completed distance in the goggles and app at the end of the swim, rather than the distance that the workout says.

Example

Your pool is 60m and you are swimming a workout that is 1000m.

You will input the correct pool size at the start of the workout. The workout will behave as though each turn is completing 50m. If you see an interval of 50m, this would mean you swim one length to complete the interval.

At the end of the workout, you will have completed 1200m instead of the 1000m that the workout stated in the app. 

Workouts designed for 25m/y pools

Some workouts in the library were designed specifically for shorter pools (namely 25m/y but they will also work in custom length pools up to 37.5m/y). These workouts are flagged in the app so that, when browsing the workouts, you will see which workouts fall into this category. These workouts will not adjust to longer pools and you will not be able to select these workouts in your goggles if you are swimming in a longer pool.
