A Free Swim is a swim where you do not follow a guided workout. In this case, the goggles are simply showing the metrics you chose for your dashboard and tracking you as you swim.

To swim this way:

• turn on the goggles by holding down the front button for 3-5 seconds until you see the FORM logo,
• select Pool using the front button
• navigate through the options using the rear button until you see Free Swim
• select Free Swim using the front button
• navigate through the pool size screen (How do I change the pool size?)
• press the front button to start the swim.

If you have Premium, swimming in Free Swim will activate Smart Set.
