You can pause your pool swim (whether it's a free swim or workout) by pressing the FRONT button. 

In a free swim, you will see the time of day in the top portion of the screen. Scrolling through the menu with the REAR button will allow you to:

• resume the swim
• turn on and off the HeadCoach™ Skills, as well as switch between them
• access the drills mode to record drills
• save and quit the swim
• discard and quit the swim
• access the settings

You can select any of these using the FRONT button.

In a workout, you will see the time of day in the top portion of the screen.  Scrolling through the menu with the REAR button will allow you to:

• resume the swim
• turn on and off the HeadCoach™ Skills, as well as switch between them
• repeat an interval
• skip an interval
• save and quit the swim
• discard and quit the swim
• access the settings

You can select any of these using the FRONT button.
