How do I use the goggles in open water?
There are two main ways to use the goggles in open water.
The first way is to use the built-in open water mode on the goggles, and the second is to pair the goggles with a compatible Apple Watch or Garmin smartwatch.
Goggles' open water swim mode
When you turn on the goggles, you can choose open water swim as one of the menu options. Choosing open water will allow you to press the front button to start swimming. Swimming in open water mode means that you can track your time while you swim.
When turning on the goggles, select Open Water Swim then Track On Goggles. You can then press the front button to start the swim. Pausing the swim will give you access to drills mode, saving & quitting or discarding & quitting the swim. You would see one dashboard throughout the swim (unlike pool swimming, which has swim, turn and rest dashboards) and up to three bottom metrics cycling.

If you use your watch for open water swimming, the metrics will be tracked by the FORM Swim app on Apple Watch and the goggles will serve as the real-time display. In this case, the goggles will not be tracking any metrics themselves.
With a Garmin smartwatch

If you use your watch for open water swimming, the metrics will be tracked as normal by the watch and the goggles will serve as the real-time display. In this case, the goggles will not be tracking any metrics themselves.
